Best Places to Have a Refinish Done

Post by Bvoshus » Thu Sep 01, 2016 8:08 pm

Thinking about picking up a 66 mustang that has had its finish sanded down to the natural wood and I was wondering what was the best place/person to have an authentic daphne blue heavy wear refin.

If you want heavy wear, go Danocaster. He does the most accurate looking aging for heavy wear IMO. He did my old '62 JM and it was great. For light to medium aging, MJT is great as well. They're currently refinishing another one of my Jazzmasters, and its looking great. I think their heavy wear can look cheesy at times, though.
