maybe but the headstock of the guitar in the ad is different from both the strat & jazzmaster. They were still experimenting with rosewood boards, the prototypes had skunk stripes. I don't want it to be exactly like the guitar in the ad, just loosely based on it. I just like the black pickups-on-gold guard-with chrome barrel knobs look. :)

I'll post a new photo on thursday when the shielding arrives.

ok i understand! i think anodized wblk pups is awesome looking too...looking forward to the sheilding...do you have or make a 'bucket' outta brass? I need to show my JM on here, I will soon, I am changing her around in a week, maybe then...

Shielding arrived and I wired it up... minus the rhythm ckt. I'm still trying to decide what to do about a boost.

Seeing that last pics rubs in how extremely wrong 11-hole gold guards look, I just noticed.
