Has anyone used Zinsser "Bullseye 1-2-3" primer under nitrocellulose laquer?
I have been having a tuff time finding an undercoat in white in an aerosol.
Wood sealer/primer question...

Well I took the plunge and gave the Jag body about four coats of the Bullseye 1-2-3 primer.
It went on kind of splotchy until I heated the spray can in some hot water... smoothed right out after that.
I see plenty of sanding dust in my future...

I use this stuff all the time. It dries quickly and sands nicely.

Bullseye is shellac, not primer right?

It's a shellac primer/sealer. I used it quite a bit back in my faux finishing wall painting days, as it was the only primer that would stick nicely to wall outlet plates and A/C vent grilles. I did use it on a guitar body. The nitro lacquer I used chipped off it very easily, which was fine, as I was going for a distressed finish.

I finished a body with BIN primer and nitro color & clear. Ten years later, and no problems at all with the finish (other than my sand through )
