The fact that it’s pictured on a workbench gives me hope that this is the start of a restoration project?

...That's not terrible, but still just bad enough that it hurts to look at. That poor formerly LPB body...
I'll have to disagree with you on that one. It's a horrible mess!! Admittedly, there's not a lot that's been altered but what has been altered looks fucking ridiculous!
Oh, OK, leave the headstock intact so people know it's a Fender. Well played! I'm sure that mute works much better too, now that it's behind the strings! And that stupid bit of extra wood?! What's that all about? I'm guessing it's supposed to make your picking arm more comfy but it looks like it's gonna make it worse. It's like the opposite of a contour.
It’s literally the opposite of a contour haha

You know, the more I looked at it the worse it got. I just realized the body on the arm contour side was made smaller, and yeah that contour addition is ridiculous.

I was too quick to give the benefit of the doubt, but you are right sir - this thing is traaaaaashed

That blue headstock makes me want to buy another squier vi (sold mine last year) and refinish it in lpb.

Every Fender guitar benefits by being finished in LPB

Not vintage but still a total mess, the plates are hanging off the body in places https://www.adverts.ie/electric-guitars ... r/17529183

Asking 270€ for a guitar that cost 129€ new... wow.
"500€? That's the price of a J Mascis Jazzmaster!"

I'd still rock that, although that neck pocket looks so dodgy.

That’s... actually that looks like LSD played a major role in doing this. The refin looks great, if we forget about the shape of the body for a second...

When I see a mirror pickguard, I think that some drug other than LSD might be on their mind.
