Give it to forumite will. He'll match it to some other vintage body remains.MrFingers wrote:

^ Lots of awful things done to some of these guitars in this thread, but man, this mustang, you can feel how cool it was. Just painful to look at this!

Jesus, that mustang. Looks like it had a really great 67 68 era neck too. Must have had heavy gauge string on it too. I know mustangs weren't worth anything back in the day, but still it's like no one gave a fuck, give me that bandsaw.

Ouch that poor mustang... it's like someone did a botched surgery to make it look like a warlock Warstang? Muslock? Painful to look at...

Someone paid almost £600 for this!!
Am I missing something? Is there actual value in restoring that neck? The body is long gone!
Apologies if this has already been posted.

I think that someone was tricked into thinking that the body was genuine, instead of a home-made slab of pine.PorkyPrimeCut wrote:Someone paid almost £600 for this!!

Not vintage or remotely valuable, but why?

Holy fuck, someone actually bid on it? There's no way the pickup surrounds, bridge posts and half of the vibrola are worth $99.
