This was in Atlanta back in 2015. I offered $250 with a straight face. The neck was decent enough, and my tech back in PR was up for the challenge of bringing it back to life and always had very reasonable rates for regular customers.

When I explained that this guitar was destroyed to justify my giant lowball offer - the salesperson said "well, that's your opinion", to which I just laughed and said ok. A year later, that guitar was still there, unsold.
