Saw this locally on craiglist...
April '65 Fender neck, sanded down widthwise to be a 4 string banjo neck. On a banjo made from a skillet. Maaaaaaan there's no going back from that.

Honestly, the ingenuity and creativity is kind of impressive. I'd wager that neck was picked up for next to nothing, or even found, during a period when such an item was almost worthless, couldn't afford to buy a banjo and made what he could out of what was available through rummaging and scavenging.

Was there any history as to it's creation in the listing?
