I've looked through many threads and I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a line on a spare trem bar and/or a saddle height screw? I'm missing one of each on my SG2/SG3. Thanks!

There's a seller in Japan makes great replacement trem arms - I've bought three over the last couple of years. I'll try to dig out a link when I get home.

I think the saddle screws are just M2 thread grub screws - again, I'll measure one for you later.

The grub screws are actually M2.5 x 8mm - these should work: http://www.ebay.com/itm/25-Pcs-Slotted- ... 0996162264 but they must be available in plain steel somewhere, rather than black.

Check out the Australian band King Gizzard and the lizard wizard. Two of the 3 guitarists regularly use 60s Yamaha SG models. Plenty of fuzz and effects. They sound fantastic.

I've toured with my SG2 and SG3 and they were fantastic. They took some setup and pickup height adjustment beforehand, but you can find the pocket. Their pickups are very sensitive to setup and string gauge.

I've got all kinds of fuzz on my board...all you need to do is watch the treble on the bridge pickup(s) to avoid feedback.

^^^what others have said above. The first Big Muff I ever saw used live (c.1988) was getting blasted by a guy welding the second SG-2 that I ever saw, a nice white one, through a HI-Watt. Sounded awesome and made me run out to find a Muff of my own!

Also, King Gizzard, as mentioned above, is awesome as well.

Guitarfetish has some nice vintage style surface mount vibrato that could look nice on it.
