For that price, you can't go wrong with these guitars, especially with the ET270 "trapezoid" pickups.
Give it a try if you can, I'm pretty sure you'll be convinced.
Just check that the frets are ok, then GO GO GO !

Re: The ARIA 1802t/1803t - EPIPHONE ET 270 DATABASE
By the way, I own two different Aria 1802s, one with the classic trapezoid pickups and the other with the strat-like pickups.
And I find the strat-like pickups clearly lifeless compared to the trapezoid ones.
Does anyone feel the same or is it that my strat-like pickups are a bit dead?

I've read through each page of this thread and there's loads of great info, but does anyone know what the neck radius is on these? Is it the same for each different brand?
Cheers

Don't know for sure/never measured but the ones I've played feel like the 9 to 10" range, not as flat as gibson but flatter than vintage fender.DaveC wrote:I've read through each page of this thread and there's loads of great info, but does anyone know what the neck radius is on these? I agree with Sandwiches.
I've attempted to measure quite a few these bridges and it seems like I am inevitably "splitting-hairs" around the 10" - 11" radius mark. After applying various size radius gauges across the top of the bridge saddles and across the arc of the intonation screws - my "eye" says flatter side of 10".
Search "Motorik". I think Ben "theworkoffire" utilized a 9.5" or 10" radius fretboard.
The plastic saddles and bridge are from a Hi-Flyer - separate tremolo and bridge. The metal saddles and bridge are from a UC-2 or UC-3 - all-in-one tremolo/bridge. I have an ET-270 tremolo with plastic saddles, but no images- maybe in a follow-up. Last image illustrates two different versions of the saddle base - one is smooth and the other has two dimples. Dimpled version did not have the plastic sheet beneath saddles and was from a Domino Olympic. It is the only example of a dimpled saddle base that I have ever seen. However, that should only affect the height.
If you were making, or having a neck made for yourself using this tremolo system, I think you could get away with using a 10" or slightly flatter radius fretboard without any major issues.

Re: The ARIA 1802t/1803t - EPIPHONE ET 270 DATABASE
I can't add much to what's above, other than to say that I just checked the two trems I have here (one plastic rollers, one metal) against my fret cauls, and both the 9.5" and 10" radius fitted onto the rollers perfectly, but the 12" was noticeably too flat.
I've always fitted 9.5" necks to these trems, but the way I radius the neck makes it a little flatter at the bridge anyway.

Hello,
Could someone post some detailed pictures of the bridge/Tremelo cover plate? Mine is missing and I can't find any spare parts online...
So i will have to try and build it myself...

You Can find the tremolo cover ,i think uc 3 make sole ,(well made more over)
But the trem and bridge are real harder to source ,often attach to a guitar in tact
I have replug mine last week ,my 1802 less old sound Good but the older is Ill need to check the électro ,the Bass cut Switch eat the sound
