It is actually the only remaining prototype for the "Fender Jaguap" (Named after the extinct animal whose teeth serve as frets on this guitar), a top secret experiment with the purpose to create the worlds most awesome guitar, sadly interrupted by agent 007, acting as a hired gun for Gibson Musical Instruments.

The only finished prototype was brought to safety in a honky tonk down in Mexico, and eventually ended up in the hands of Pat, who made it public here on OSG.

Due to the death of 67 employees working on the project, Fender still to this day denies any knowledge of any such thing as a Fender Jaguap.

(dang i forgot a shot of the dot markers on the side. i also "filled" them with white "liquid paper", same as the center of the fret markers.
otherwise i wouldn't see them on a dark stage...
