I once put, on my old '64 Jaguar, it's original, a 70s one, a MIJ 90s one and a 2012 MIA one and they all sounded exactly the same. And they were all janky. Then I put on a '64 Mustang one. That basically sounded the same but with no shitty rattles and buzzes.

Hearing a difference between a '62 or '72 original bridge is almost certainly confirmation bias.

I put a Mastery on in the end. Much better.
