What is this please? Bass VI? Marauder Proto?

Post by supersonicjazzmaster » Sun Jun 14, 2020 1:40 am

Good morning everyone,

I don´t know, is this discussed before maybe?
I stumbled over this video with Sandy Nelson.
The guy behind the drumkit is playing a kind of Bass VI? Or is it a Marauder?
Pickups under the pickguard?
What do you thjnk about?

Looks like a bass VI, and the resolution and exposure just make it tough to see individual pickups.
The artist formerly known as mbene085.

instantly i believe this isn’t a Fender at all?
Take a look at the big bridge, and a rectangle switch part.

I come back from this
on closer inspection after seen another video fragment, i can confirm it’s a Fender VI Bass (likely Fiësta Red)
