Norah Jones plays a vintage JM
I think most of us have seen Norah Jones playing a cool mid 60s dakota red Mustang for a long time, but I guess she also likes vintage jazzmasters...she's a very cool lady indeed.

Yes, I think it's a 64 jazzmaster in beautiful condition.

I wish my JM was that noise free in the neck position.
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

Looks like one of those faux-bursts where they painted solid yellow to hide ugly grain ... and it sure sounds good, I think she was using the rhythm circuit.

Didn't watch the video, but wanted to share that Catherine Popper, the bassist in Norah Jones' band Puss n Boots rocks a sick '66 tort/three tone sunburst P-Bass. These ladies have great taste in gear obviously.

I enjoyed that.
Beautiful guitar. Unbound neck, so 64 would be my guess too.

she's been doing these informal sets from her music room for weeks now, taking fan requests and often with a link to support a relief organization or other good cause. Norah rocks

Norah Jones is great. Always liked her songs. To see a descendant of the great Ravi Shankar playing a JazzMaster..... I want one too

I liked her stuff, have Come Away With Me but wasn't really a fan... until I saw her lockdown vids, there's a lot of fanstastic ones, especially the piano stuff! Great to see her with a JM too of course.
Her version of I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry is perfect. Love her piano chops and her voice sounds amazing.
