I like black, don’t get me wrong. But I can’t imagine choosing black over a custom color of the day. Sherwood, Teal Green Metallic, Firemist Silver, etc.
I know it’s up there in rarity and all that... just my 2 cents.

I completely agree. Black is probably the last cc I’d choose. I have a 65 CAR XII that I love but would die for a Surf Green, Seafoam Green, or Sherwood Green XII.

I love the look of an aged black CC with matching headstock. I wouldn't pay that kind of cash for one though.
