Price check: White Which Hat knobs.
I have a set of old stock white which hat knobs on a project that I decided to disassemble and scrap out. When I got them they were NOS. Not from a 65 JM or anything. Curious what the going price for these would be as I have no real need for them now. Thanks.

I finally finish building a guitar, go to play it, and then remember, "oh yeah, that's right. I suck at playing... Why did I build another guitar again?"

The last pair I bought back in 2014 were $32USD including shipping from US->AUS.

Thanks. I'm surprised no one can chime in one a more recent sale... Once the supply dried up they must have stopped changing hands... Maybe my set can help establish the current value by putting them on ebay or something..
Thank you... Unfortunately the body is heavy as hell and the neck has developed a bit of a twist... So I'm going to try to sell the body, and see about straightening the neck... We'll see.

I've been looking at a set for one of my Jazzmasters and I think I have seen them available for a little over $25. Maybe $28 or so.
Let us know if you sell, I might be interested. Although the posts on my Jazzmaster and splined and not smooth bore, so I am wondering if these will even work on there well. I should have thought of that when I did this but then again I don't think that Fender was making proper witch hats when I re-did the electronics.

I used knurled pots in my JMJM and used these knobs. There’s the slightest bit of wobble but they’re tight and not going anywhere. Works fine

Is the $25 set you're talking about vintage or modern repros? I know fender makes a really nice repro now.Larry Mal wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 6:20 amI've been looking at a set for one of my Jazzmasters and I think I have seen them available for a little over $25. Maybe $28 or so.

For the reproductions- are you selling actual vintage knobs? If so I missed that, apologies for the bad information.

No prob. For all I knew vintage ones have came down in price, so I thought I should check. Thanks.

Yep. Same. If you orient the screw so it tightens in to the split, they tighten up perfectly and doesn't crush the tines together, but rather pushes it slightly open, making better contact.Mechanical Birds wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 6:29 amI used knurled pots in my JMJM and used these knobs. I got a set for my JM a couple of years ago when they first became available as reissue. I think they were about $20 - $25.
definitely added some mojo to the look.
