fender mustang comp 1972

Post by kapepper » Mon Feb 19, 2018 3:13 am

New belated guitar day.
Had this already for some time but never had the time to post it
1972 Comp mustang, in very good condition

I actually like the sound a lot and the shortscale doesn't give me any issues. sounds very full and fenderish (it is a fender ;) )

Congrats, she's a beauty! My wife was born the day before the neck date stamp. Very cool!

Very nice, I’ve got a ‘72 in competition orange and it’s a lot of fun to play!

I think the '16' in the neck date stamp refers to the guitar model that the neck is for, not April 16th.

i.e. 16 is for a Mustang and Duosonic, 22 for Strat, 15 for Jaguar etc.
