Yes, I do play them. And yes, I do enjoy when I play them!

I would do unspeakable things with the darker LPB one on the right. That is a really pretty collection of JMs. (Custom) color me jealous.

Amazing collection! I have two in custom colors, one vintage and one CS. Will post soon.
Which ones do you play out with? Which sounds the best? Which feels the best? And which one are you most connected to?

Well, I took a shot like this last year, so here is an updated one with some more custom colors. From left to right we have:
1962 Slab board LPB
1963 Sherwood Green
1964 Daphne Blue with Gold Hardware
1964 Fiesta Red with Gold Hardware
1963-64 Lake Placid Blue (very clean one!)
All are original finishes!

Re: Custom Color Jazzmaster Collection
I don’t play live or gig. I just collect and play at home regularly in my music room for fun. Once a year or so I’ll play at a family party or something. I have a 61 slab board sunburst that I usually use as a player. It has been re-refretted with larger frets, and I have a mastery bridge on it. The finish is original, but has enough wear that I’m not afraid to take it out and play it.
But among the custom colors, I think the Daphne blue is obviously the most prized, although the 62 LPB Sounds the nicest.

Beautiful. That Sherwood is my favorite. I don't like the newer darker Sherwood as much as the true example.

Re: Custom Color Jazzmaster Collection
This is so rad. The best JM I've ever played was a '62 LPB - the closest to it that I've owned has been my '65 OW. I tried another slab board for a while but it turns out that I prefer the feeling of a bound neck. Pictures like this make me consider selling my '65 and '66 for a crazy D+B custom color (a little more interesting than OW). Makes me think - what other guitars do you have in your collection?

Incredible, this has definitely ensured that if I were to ever attempt a Jazzmaster or Jag build it would have to be Sherwood green.

Though Sherwood green is usually my favourite color, the daphne blue and fiesta red really caught my eyes, simply gorgeous!

Re: Custom Color Jazzmaster Collection
Wonderful collection! If you ever decide to make some YouTube demos of each of these, I'd love to hear how each of them sound. I enjoyed your '59 JM refin'd in Fiesta Red with the '63 Vibroverb demo (assuming you are Swinbad - apologies if I'm incorrect!). Congrats on a stellar time capsule set of Fender JM goodness.

My apologies for the delay in Responding to these mini kind comments.
Yes, I do have other guitars in my collection. I my special love is jazzmasters, and I’m currently looking for custom color examples to add to the collection.

That’s a really great collection. Those 60’s colors are about as cool as it gets. Thanks for sharing.
