unnecessary NGD: 70s MIJ "Vision" Mustang
i got this a couple days ago. didn't plan it, but it happened. it was cheap and just look at it... i had to.
it's branded VISION, but i've found the identical guitar with original competition (horrible) paintjobs as the Tomson Splendor Series model.
call Thurston!
the vibrato arm is a Bigsby one, i think. might wanna get something slimmer. but the tuning is quite stable, i must say.
i might wanna restore it somehow a bit over time. the paint especially...
but for now i'm happy with it as my "couch" guitar

Hey, didn't you say you'd rock my glittery StripperStang as-is? I'd keep that blue burst! It may not be perfect, but the world needs more blue burst guitars...I like it!

dunno yet, maybe something a bit more... umm... "classic"?
it's made of cheap plywood, it seems, which is visible in the dongs. i think it was stipped before the spraycan "refin"...
maybe sherwood green or so?
and i'm even considering putting a Fender vibrato on it, too...

Re: unnecessary NGD: 70s MIJ "Vision" Mustang
hell yeah!!! Where'd you find that?!
You know, the more I look at mine, the cooler I find it, the fact that it does NOT look like a Fender vibrato etc. Will find a good arm for it and leave it. But refin might still be cool.
But first I need some new frets... Sadly, this one has some big dents in some, that makes bending or buzz-free fretting impossible.
Or is there some easy guerrilla trick to fix/fill them?!
