Fender XII 1966
Hello!!
Well, I bought/traded another fender XII a few months ago already.....
Really excellent condition, very little wear, resonant, and light weight!
Some pictures (and yes, strung a six string when i bought it, but now back with 12 strings)
BS?
And my fender 1966 family: Twin reverb-Jazzmaster and XII

My favorite Fender. I have a partscaster Xii and I'd never ever part with it.
Killer set up, dude.

Re: Fender XII 1966
Loving the Fender Facts! Interesting they call it "12-string electric" but it became the Electric XII.
And I always wondered how they would play with 6 strings. Lots of room to bend!
Next time I restring, I may give it a try.
Just seems wrong, though...

Re: Fender XII 1966
Hi,
I'm a long term reader (and owner of a number of offsets) but this is my first post.
Firstly .. amazing guitar!
Secondly ... i've bought pretty much the same guitar. 66 xii with no binding on the neck but i need to make some adjustments .. one being the bridge height. It looks like you need some kind of wrench to adjust the bar under the saddles but does anyone know what wrench you need?
Cheers
Colin

it's been a while since i had to adjust mine so i don't remember exactly what size, but it's a hex/allen tool. i'd start with a .05 - it's american, so i believe that means .05 inch? common Fender bridge tool.

My standard guitar tools didn’t work, but I was able to do it with a very fine screwdriver and worked perfectly!colsblues wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2017 3:13 pmHi,
