Hey everyone, I bought my first bass a little while ago and wanted to post a picture of it here, its a short scale model with an offset body. It plays great and has a nice thumpy tone.

Yeah, I am pleased with it. I am not a "serious" bass player, guitar being my "real" instrument that I play the most, like recording or live or whatever, but I enjoy playing bass on tracks I am recording or just messing with one at home. It has a nice feel to it, much like the earlier teisco guitars from the same era do. Feels solidly made and stays in tune. I love the pickup, its very microphonic and has a nice character to it.
