so..... strange request.
my old band (damn these metal arms) once played a gig in clydebank which is just outside glasgow. sadly, i dont remember the band or have any pictures. but i always remember the 2 guitars their guitar player had. both were early 60's musicmasters with a single humbucker in the neck. one was blue, one was yellowed Olympic white. it was about 7 years ago. weird question but has anyone ever seen the same kinda mod done to a musicmaster?

While doing some unrelated research on a fantasy project I came across this...

Hope it helps, I know it's not exact. The only other two I came across was a 70's with the Bronco style guard and a '62 that had been modified for a humbucker but since put back stock.

This is when you know that you're a real guitar player. You can't remember anything about the band or players, but know exactly the brand, color, era, and pickup configuration of the guitars they were playing. Lolol. I'm guilty of this too. I can't help you out, but hope you find what you're looking for!s_mcsleazy wrote:my old band (damn these metal arms) once played a gig in clydebank which is just outside glasgow. sadly, i dont remember the band or have any pictures. but i always remember the 2 guitars their guitar player had. both were early 60's musicmasters with a single humbucker in the neck. one was blue, one was yellowed Olympic white. it was about 7 years ago. weird question but has anyone ever seen the same kinda mod done to a musicmaster?

i remembered they sounded a bit like pinkerton era weezer and their guitar player used a silverface princeton but for distorted sounds, he used a turbo rat.Crshngdstryr wrote:This is when you know that you're a real guitar player.
