Re: original shell pink
It is a cool colour I guess, but I am not feeling the mint green guard.

Re: original shell pink
Shell pink is one of those colours that I know I would never order as a colour on a guitar of my own (there are others that I find more appealing), yet whenever I see it on a guitar is does look pretty decent.
I always find it hard to stray from Inca Silver or Blue Ice Metallic.

My favourite colour. A shame there's about zero chance to own a vintage one, no matter the model.

Is this for sale somewhere? Or where did you find the picture?
Thanks, and very cool!

Never mind. I just saw the picture on Terry Foster's Instagram page :-). I had a feeling it might be his :-)

Re: original shell pink
What a beauty...such a rare color. Interesting, but the dots look pearloid to me, which would mean circa '64 transition period, not '62 (assuming it's the original neck). If anything, that could be even more rare.

This is actually the only other vintage Fender in Shell Pink that I know of. A '61 Jazz Bass is rare enough, but this must be one of a kind.
And he stickered it up.
