Indeed. Gorgeous!!
Is the yellowed clearcoat consistent over the whole body?
If I ever buy another Mustang it'll be one of these, preferably old enough to have clay dots.
Just out of curiousity, how much did you pay for it? (PM me if need be)
Thanks, guys. The colour is what grabbed me immediately when I saw will's post about its "upcoming" sale. The green (i.e. yellowed clearcoat) is consistent in colour throughout in the sense that there aren't different greens, but there are some areas such as along the edges where it's blue - I haven't examined it closely enough to say offhand whether this is from less UV exposure along the edges, or whether the clear coat had been worn away.
Anyone who saw it would just call it a green guitar, pretty much - but the daphne blue peeks out in the nooks and crannies.

I had a play about on a '66 Mustang in Dakota Red today and was blown away with it; it felt amazing and had a really chunky neck compared to others I've played. Beautiful patina too, it was just lightly checked all over with a very yellowed pickguard. Yours just brought it all back to me

Ditto. Great Stang! Love that you went for a clay dot, first year!

Thanks guys. Problem is that my OCD is kicking in and I'm now craving the set of red, white, and blue '64s....ugh it never ends.
