he is saying the guitar wasn't collectible anyway because the original sunburst was already sanded away and the electrics were missing...

Seriously I had a look at all those guys guitars, and the aesthetic is 'not for me' to put it politely. 'novelty whisky guitar'!! 'jaguar with a jaguar'!! It's a bunch of juvenile crap.

still think it's ok to do stupid shit to these fucking things like it's still 1977. I can't speak German either but the two English words in the blurb told me everything I needed to know about the guy, and the extent of his knowledge of Jaguars:

Honestly I think that the amp is worse than the guitar. It doesn’t make it any better... if he wanted to improve a Champ by adding a second speaker, why would he destroy the chassis?

wait is that an OLD champ?
I think the guitar is possibly the worst thing in this thread, on the basis that we can at least tell ourselves the other things were mutilated in the past when there was no particular value to these guitars

These things always remind me of the Chapman brothers and their work with the complete set of Goya's 'The Disasters of War,' and the questions they raised.
There are a great number of stock old Jags, there is only one (ugly) old Jag with a Jaguar hood ornament inset into the body. Why is the expression of mass production seen as more valuable than the expression of a single person building upon mass production?
