There is now a View Unread Posts link up top. Still working on a View my unread posts but that's going to be a fair bit more difficult.

Email notification has been set to OFF by default for ALL members. If you want email notification by default you will have to go back into your User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit Posting Defaults and turn it on. Those of you that have been receiving email notifications will continue to receive them on topics that you were subscribed to until you go and unsubscribe yourself from them. Keep in mind that while this is a pain in the ass for many of us who use the board frequently, more casual users typically find this feature quite helpful since it allows them to track a topic without committing to visiting the site for updates constantly.
