Great choice on the colour - looks great.
And I love knowing how far and wide other people's weird obsessions take them. Always make me feel better about following my own.

Beautiul! I've always wanted a Wurli and I don't even play keyboards. I just love that sound. It looks like you've found the best possible way to acquire a good one. I must confess though, I thought Ray Charles played a Rhodes on "What'd I Say", and it's the quintessential Wurlitzer track.

Ive been following the Chicago Electric Piano Company online for a while now, and im so glad someone here in Aus pickup up one from that bulk lot. What a beautiful keyboard.
Im doing the exact opposite of you! I recently picked up a 200a from Gumtree locally that had seen better days. No sustain pedal, had been sitting in someones shed for years, full of rust and an action that needs a bit of work. I plan on 'learning' the instrument mechanics as I restore it. Today I got the amp going after replacing the hardwired fuses with new in-line holders. The vibrato isn't working, but there are only 3 corresponding components I need to replace to get that going.
A big task, but at the price i picked it up for, I would have been stupid to pass it up, even if just for spare parts.
