Re: Who all plays drums? Show your kit!
I've been playing drums 20 years now, guitar for 21, but I ALWAYS wind up being the drummer in a band. I am a much better drummer than a guitarist though. I guess all in all I am thankful I can track my own drums whenever I want and always play it how I hear it sounding in my head. This is my setup, been rocking it for a while. I adore this kit, even for all its shortcomings. The only drum I really want is a 14x8 snare of some sort, the stock snare with this kit is okay though. Cymbals are probably my drug of choice, can't walk out of a store it seems without buying one, not a brand queen. I have a bunch of Ufip, Paiste, Sabian, Zildjian, and Meinl that I switch out. I might buy one more stand to put something else on the left side here soon.
Kit it a Japanese Tama Imperialstar 20x18 Bass Drum, 10", 12" and 14" toms, 14 inch snare

I need to get a pic of my Rogers kit once I get it moved into the jam space hopefully tomorrow night. It's been sitting in bags since I bought it a couple months back

If you think my singing is bad, you should hear me play guitar.

Re: Who all plays drums? Show your kit!
Just bought this kit from a friend yesterday, all the metal is a tad rusty so I've got to clean that up. I've also got to get a drum stool and another cymbal stand so still a fair bit of work to go until it's looking like new.
Anyone got any tips for cleaning a drum kit or just playing the drums in general? Had never really attempted to play until a few days ago

Vintage Premier kit, Zildjian K Custom or Bliss Dream for the softer/jazzy stuff. Snare is a pretty deep vintage Premier

It's a great sounding kit, but it's been modified quite a bit. It's been re-wrapped in what I like to call "Easter Bunny Pearl". It's kind of a yellowish pearl, but then it looks pink in the light.
The rack tom had a Yamaha YESS mount installed on it, which I'm personally cool with.
