Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?....

Johnny boy poopy pants
I bought a new Ukulele a couple of weeks back. I have a Fender Jazzmaster one which is, surprisingly, really good...but I struggle with the tiny neck of it's concert scale. So I set about finding a Tenor for that extra 2" that it would provide. I decided I also wanted a pineapple shape one (because they're cute, and I don't care about admitting that). Not many pineapple tenors exist outside of the +£1000 range which I wasn't wanting to spend. But this got recommended to me so I went for it.
It's a Makaio MKTP-10 which has a concert body size but tenor neck. I immediately broke a string the day it arrived annoyingly (maybe it got weak in the shipping from Chicago to the UK?). Still it's back to a full set and the strings are currently bedding in and stretching.
It's a book-matched Koa body which looks lovely...
I do miss the built-in tuner the Fender has but I have plenty of clip ons lying around
