Mellotron M4000D and Arp Odyssey (w/clip)

Post by Hiwatt Bob » Fri Apr 06, 2018 10:45 pm

Got these two babies recently after selling off a bunch of eurorack and pedals. so stoked, especially with the mellotron.

here's my first lil Diddy I made. the first half is mellotron half speed marimba and clarinet. the second ambient half is both Mello and Arp Oydessey Rev 1 reissue module (and a ton of reverb added later).

Oh you got the D model.
They sound really great, and are pretty easy to use.

I'm not buying anymore synths for the foreseeable future, but I want one of those modules. Mmmm...

That sounds really good. Very haunting. It sounds like something right up Shadowplay's alley (assuming you press it on vinyl or a limited cassette :freako: ).

David should make a thread about this. Nobody would ever read it, though.

1 out of a thousand isn't so bad but David will still mention it in all music threads. We're GnR fans here. :-*

(also on that train, btw)

I've been lusting after one of those Mellotrons ever since I saw the guy from Dungen playing one. It sounded SO SICK ON EVERYTHING. Congrats.
