Arturia Minilab v.1 and v.2

Any thoughts on these as a usb synth controller? Has anyone used or own one? Curious about the differences in versions. V.1 comes with 5000 sounds, V.2 comes with 500 sounds.

v1 had issues with buttons and the velocity/modulation strips. v2 is better in that regard. also, the pads do velocity in v2.
