walking home just now it was beside a neighbours recycle bin.
looks like someone put cigarettes out on it and it's been rained on.
it's 6V DC -C+
don't think I can use my 1spot for this :/
and I'm a bit scared to zap myself.

Nice find! They run on USB power, so it'll be easy enough to find out if it works.

Windows does not recognize this device.
replug and try again.
If Windows does not recognize your device it may not be working properly.
guess it was throw out for a reason.
is it worth it to get someone to look at it?

I dunno. Does it start up? Can you scroll and select programs? It might still be useful as a midi controller, just not through a computer. If you take it to get looked at, you'll pay at least a bench fee for having it looked at, and it may not be worth your while to do. It could be good to part out, though.

nothing happens when I plug it into my tablet, just get the "Windows does not recognize" message.
the MPK25 itself does nothing.
there's some on ebay for $150 buy it now.
I haven't been having a good week at work so far so maybe I'll just...
