What ipad DAW controllers is everyone using?
I have the worst luck with them. I haven't been able to get most of them to work at all. I tried AC-7 Core. DAW remote. Touch OSC. None of them work.
I had V control pro working, after messing round for a month tying to set it up, then they decided they weren't supporting windows any longer.
I just bought Touch OSC today, foolishly thinking it would work. . .
I've followed the instructions and it seems so confusing.
Is there anything else that works?
I just would like to be able to open up plug ins and control the parameters with the ipad, which Touch OSC says it can do. .

Maybe, or maybe not but what about an app where you use the ipad as a second screen for your computer?
Then drag what you need over to ipad. The apps I've seen that do this connect over wifi, I think.
*Def want to have a stylus for tiny buttons tho.

Supposedly you can do this with Logic Pro X and an iPad. I've tried but haven't gotten it to work, so I can't comment on it too much. I wasn't really sure what you can do with a setup like this, but even if it were something as simple as start/stop/record'ing from across the room, that would be nice.
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

I use touchAble as a controller app from my iPad to control Ableton on my PC. Kind of makes some things easier to do without having to touch the mouse.

Weird, so the tech guy who told me that v control was no longer windows compatible wasn't telling me the truth. I have it running, but theres lots of weird glitches and stuff. I guess he meant for the new version of it.
I hate how now its a yearly subscription fee. That's one way to make sure I will never use/buy a product.
That second screen sounds like a perfect idea. I already have a hardware daw control for start, stop, and fader, but I want more hands on for plug ins. I have tried some second screen apps before but they didn' work very well.
Does anyone know a good one?

I always thought the Jazzmutant Lemur stuff looked cool, but I've never used it.

You can always use something like Duet or Air Display to replicate the monitor.
