Need like a good notation or chord calculator, a tab writer would
be nice, something not too complicated.  want to write on the fast..
Piano chord calcs always good.   Delay to time in ms type calculators.
etc.. anyone?   I Forgot most of the ones i've used in past but here's
some freebies some will like.

Free tuner
Free Kontakt 2 or 3  kit A
Free Kontakt 2 or 3  kit B

Also, SOUNDHACK Freebies are becoming my ultimate favorites..
(I'm gonna need spectral bundle soon.)  really nice collection over here.
http://www.soundhack.com/freeware.phpuse these alot +compander
/ +delay pack / original soundhack even is really cool too.

Excellent chord widget, works with alternate tunings: http://wubbahed.com/trove/releases/Guit ... Plugin.zip

Audio Damage have a few free plugins: http://www.audiodamage.com/downloads/

So does Soniccouture, but you'll need Kontakt: http://www.soniccouture.com/pages/freestuff.htm

Why disable it? If you don't like it just don't open it. So, yes, you need dashboard.

well.. i did disable it -- so i guess i could re-enable it though for this app alone.

a) i never used to use the dashboard feature in first place.
b) i'd always accidentally hit the dashboard key command by accident *(annoyance).
c) It supposedly speeds up the CPU and frees a bunch of RAM if you do so that was my thinking.

You can change the key command somewhere in system settings.
