Excellent chord widget, works with alternate tunings: http://wubbahed.com/trove/releases/Guit ... Plugin.zip
Audio Damage have a few free plugins: http://www.audiodamage.com/downloads/
So does Soniccouture, but you'll need Kontakt: http://www.soniccouture.com/pages/freestuff.htm

Why disable it? If you don't like it just don't open it. So, yes, you need dashboard.noirengineer wrote:when you say widget?Pingu wrote: Excellent chord widget, works with alternate tunings: http://wubbahed.com/trove/releases/Guit ... Plugin.zip

well.. i did disable it -- so i guess i could re-enable it though for this app alone.Pingu wrote: Why disable it? If you don't like it just don't open it. So, yes, you need dashboard.
a) i never used to use the dashboard feature in first place.
b) i'd always accidentally hit the dashboard key command by accident *(annoyance).
c) It supposedly speeds up the CPU and frees a bunch of RAM if you do so that was my thinking.

You can change the key command somewhere in system settings.
