First post: dating a jm with no stamp?

Post by VagnRavn » Thu Apr 09, 2015 3:21 am

Hey guys!

I'm a first time poster - and a first time offset owner.
I've bought myself a MIJ JM and the serial claims that it's from 93-94.
So I wanted to check the date stamp on the neck but it wasn't there?

I can't seem to figure out how to post my pics?
I'll edit my post as soon as I find out!

Wrong section as well, but anyway:

You need to host the pictures somewhere and then use the location with image tags round it .

As far as I know, MIJ/CIJ guitars don't have the neck stamp that vintage ones too, that's only for USA made guitars (don't know about MIM)

Now that we're on that subject, I've lost my link to a serial number "decryptor" for Fender. Anyone have it handy ?
