I've recently discovered an undying love within me for off-set bodies and I'm low on cash being a student and all. I want to buy a Blacktop Jag 90 and convert it into this. Thoughts?

Blacktop P90 Jaguar to Custom JM conversion?
I will drag my guitar along the ground with no hesitation if that'll get me the sound I want. Please don't shoot.

Unless you're dead set on the bigsby, I'd suggest getting a Squier Jazzmaster. You'd save a couple hundred dollars, and could use it toward a tortoise pickguard or P90-style replacement pickups (if you didn't like the stock pickups).

Sonic Youth did a mod like this to one of their Jags. I want a BT90 for this purpose, really.

I will be changing the pups to a set of Lollars...maybe change the electronics too and yes, I am hell bent on a Bigsby. I'll be buying the vibramate too so I won't have to drill any holes. I would love to own one of those Fanos but money just doesn't grow on trees.
