Hmmmmmmm... I dunno... I know that one of his is a Nash... couldn't tell you if it is that one.
I really dig the look of it.
Anybody wanna weigh in on the guard?
I think I saw another pic of the same guitar and it looks so matte, that I'm going to have to guess it's anodized...
if so... 

Oh... and btw... I've decided that my 3TSB is going to be going the way of the brown stain.
I'll be sure to document it.

From what I remember, the poo brown one is a 59/60 JM that he bought at a music store in Chicago. The red one is the Nash, which he felt Nash just 'didn't do it quite right'. This poo brown one is the one he's been playing lately, but refinished in black. I believe his super-worn black jazzmaster has been retired.

As for the pickguard, it could be black anodized but I have a better feeling it's just a one ply matte black pickguard. There is definitely no shine to it.
