If I remember correctly, green is complementary to red in the color wheel .... I've used mint green (very light, I think it's sold as vintage or aged ... I forget the term) on faded Fiesta and it looks spectacular. The eye sees it as almost white, except at close inspection.
If you are partial to white pickguards, you may want to go mint green on the Fiesta.
Tort is also good. Classy. Looks great on anything.
