Jazzmaster Design - Which color scheme should go with?
Okay, I'm at a point of indecision on something. For the better part of a year now, I've been working on designing a Jazzmaster to build, as soon as I have few or no farther obligations, I plan to get started on it. Problem is, it's hard to find a finish scheme I DON'T like.
Specs
Neck: 22 Fret Neck, 60's C back shape (same as Jag-Stang), 22 Vintage Frets, Compound Radius, Rock maple, with Rosewood Fretboard, Tus-Q Nut, and Tone Pros Sealed Kluson style Tuning Machines
Body: Alder Jazzmaster body wtih Traditional Routing
Pickups: Jazzmaster Pickups, Vintage Style (neck), Hot wound to enhance mids and some of the bass end but still sound like a Jazzmaster in bridge
Controls: Standard Jazzmaster controls, plus a push-pull tone control coil tap for the bridge pickup (to drop the sound down to a Vintage Jazzmaster sound), cloth wiring
Bridge/Trem: Allparts Jazzmaster/Jaguar bridge, with AVRI Trem Unit
Other Parts: Schaller Strap Locks, Fender Jazzmaster style Case
#1 - Teal on Black Pearloid w/ Black Plastic & Speed Knobs
#2 - Black on Blue Pearloid w/ White Plastic & Strat Knobs
#3 - Sea Foam Green w/ Pearloid & Witch hats

hmm… honestly I think I can’t help you.
If you decide to go with ocean turquoise you could change the guard when you feel different about it and have a beauty.

Second one...it's something that I haven't seen before and caught my eye. Would look 200% better with a matching headstock though...

I'd say numero three! I've always been a sucker for sea foam green.

...But I love the teal. Changing my vote to #1 color and #3 pickup/pickguard config.

No 3 is the least ugly imho. Black with brown tortoise or Seafoam with red tortoise/mint green would be the bomb.

The third one I think would look better with a non perloid pickguard.
