been lurking for a few weeks. i've been playing guitar since 1995, when i purchased a used MIJ E-Series Squier Stratocaster. played that thing til 2003 or so when i gave it up for other passions.
fast fwd to a month ago, decided to bust out the old Squier. started researching the history behind the rig just out of curiosity, and landed somewhere in the Non-OSG Talk forum. didn't even know what "offset" meant in regards to guitars, but realized i had always liked the look of them.

Welcome! I just got back from KC today. I went to a wedding in the Brookside neighborhood? Not sure if it's called that. At Brookside Gardens, anyway.
I've never really spent any time there, I used to drive through on the way to Lawrence, but that's about it. Pretty town!
