Re: Hello From Brooklyn
thanks guys, I had been neglecting this guitar for a while.
I hadn't cleaned this guitar for around 10 years probably. The fretboard was totally gross.
Lightly steel wooled the neck and cleaned all the chrome, put some mineral oil on the fretboard, restrung it with 12's and intonated it.
It is feeling much better now.

Hey it's a forgery !BenHagerty wrote:That might be the best looking jag everrrMr. Peabody wrote: Here's a photo of my Jaguar. My dog's nose is in the top left corner.
Look, it has a Tune-o-matic, but the tremolo plate is way too far from the bridge for this guitar to be a proper MIM Jag !

What a beauty, you're lucky !

Re: Hello From Brooklyn
Yeah, I had the tune-o-matic installed in 93 or 94. My teen angst fuelled aggro-strumming kept flipping the low E saddle over. I just found the original bridge in my basement (minus the low E saddle, which I think has been AWOL since 95). Some day I'd like to restore it, or maybe put a mustang bridge on.Haddock wrote:
