greetings, humans.

Post by thevial » Thu Oct 05, 2006 6:05 pm

my name is nick. i don't have a fender offset body guitar, but i've been discussing some off-kilter options with i love sharin foo lately about a custom jazzmaster that is proving very hard to bring to fruition. i'm not going to mention details but it'll most likely enrage some offset purists.

i like mosrites. fenders. ampegs. i like echo. i like cats. i like ice cream. and i like the color blue.

I'm with you on the Mosrites.  And the Fenders.  Oh, and the Ampegs, echo, cats and ice cream.  Come to think of it I'm with you on the blue too.  I don't think there will be anything upsetting with your Jazzmaster!

I think we're more in the "if it's offset, it's good" category.

Welcome!  :)

Doug,  from my visits to Chang Chung (northern china)  : dash or three of soy, lots of rock salt, bok choy, honey, stir fry for a while and cats taste delicious  ;)

Nice to see you Nick! I saw your pedalboard post and though, "hey,I know who this is  :D !". There is a cool section on mods and projects where you can post the details of your projects if you want to.

yeah, i'd love to hear your ideas - i love the traditional offset formula, but there's so much you can do with them!

actually, after poking around here, a lot of people have done what i wanted to do. bigsby vibrato instead, different pickups. it's really not that crazy of an idea, it's just merging gretsch, jazzmaster, jaguar with the funkier copies of the 60's. thanks for the welcome!
