Hey evrybodyyy!

Post by minifox13 » Sun Mar 18, 2007 2:07 pm

Hey, i joined the forums a couple days ago, thought i would give a bit of an introduction
I dont currently own an offset, but i REALLY REAALLY want a  :-* jazzmaster :-*, i mean, from what ive heard on other forums i really should be getting a strat, but in my eyes they just look far too plain, and jazzmasters...well really all a jazzmaster is, is an orgasm put in guitar form, so i really just cannot resist!!!! So im gunna try and mod the jazzmaster to sound a little bit more strat sounding  :)
My fav bands are the chili peppers, hendrix, zeppelin, foo fighters, artic monkeys(there alright, a bit annnoying sometimes), fugazi, circle jerks, black flag, new order, joy division, jack johnson, ben kweller (when i need some relaxin muuuusic), g n r, van halen, vai, malmsteen all that good stuff, and... NO EMO!! :k
My current equipment: Fender Nashville Deluxe Telecaster :-*(CAR with tort pickguard, simply gorgeous), Vox AD30, tube screamer reissue, digitech jimi hendrix pedal, boss ds-2(thinking of selling it in order to buy an english muff'n), morely bad horise.
Im a serious noob when it comes to world of modding guitars, so any tips would be greatly appreciated, im htinking off addign a few things to my tele (bigsby, new neck pickup etc..)
Thanks guys!!
love the forum btw!!

I just stuck a B16 on a Telecaster (which I turned into an Esquire). It is GREAT. Everything I always hoped it would be (I've wanted to put a B16 on a Telecaster for several years now).

It's not about the gear! It's about you, your hands, your imagination, your feelings.

Ha! I don't think you'll be hearing that here.

I love my strat (actually a self assembled partscaster) and there are plenty of other strat owners here. But you will find that on this forum there's always plenty of people who aren't convinced that a strat is in any way superior to the offsets. People here think for themselves. I love my Jag, I love my strat: both are great, in their different ways, neither is better. I'd really like a Jazzmaster too, and - why not? - one of everything else.

Welcome aboard.
