i was hanging around the fdp after a tour of a few months away and couldnt figure out why it was so damn quiet in there.......i think this seems like a much better place.....dont get me wrong the fdp offset is cool but the higher powers that be are something else.
so i have an avi jazzmaster and jaguar plus my glorious custom shop jazz bass fretless!!
so whats cooking????

Well, glad you found the board! Normally the routine is, you introduce yourself, then post pics of your offsets.

just noticed the thread on the fdp that mentions this forum and sent me here has been pulled........old greeney always moans because there are too many freeloaders giving him so much trouble and slowing down his server and then he tries to stop them from going elsewhere...go figure!

Well, there's no need to stir up bad feeling between the two forums .. they have their thing, and we have our thing .. being part of them didn't suit us (eg: no pictures) but now we have our own place there's no reason we can't co-exist peacefully. We have, I'm guessing, about 1% of their bandwidth requirement so we can be more flexible in some ways - a benefit of being a niche market.
You see a lot of bickering between forums, for example TGP vs HCFX, TGP vs the rack guys, HCFX vs HCAF and so on .. doesn't achieve anything IMO.
