Hi. I'm Gurn on the Gulf Coast between N'awlins & the Florida line.
I'm recently retired. I just took delivery of my Road-Worn Jazzmaster yesterday.
Opened the box early a.m. today. Sweetwater's pics are posted below.
I wanted a Jazzmaster ever since I was a kid. The rich kids in garage bands all played them.
This one sounds exactly like their Jazzmasters sounded. Noisy as **** but behind the noise,
the tone is golden. It's surf-ready and Spaghetti Western-ready out of the box.
I'm going to look through your threads about Jazzmaster pickup noise to see if I can tame that beast.
Any tips on reducing the pick-up noise would be appreciated.

Welcome, Gurn! I'm afraid I don't have any practical tips for reducing noise from Jazzmaster pickups, but I'm certain the answers you seek can be found on this forum.

Hi.
Thanks. I've reduced it some. It's only a bit noisier now than my Gibson P90's.
But it sounds golden. I swear, that's the sound for my leads.
