I bought a Fender Super-Sonic a while back and found the joy to play again.
I then realised the main reason for it being so fun to play, was that the neck scale is 24". I've known about different scale lenghts before but never made the connection of why certain guitars I've owned felt better than others. Until now, when I got the Super-Sonic. It took me 40+ years to get that "aha"-moment.
But eventually I wanted something better than Fenders design. So I looked everywhere until I finally found Warmoth (also something I've known about for a long time) and bought myself a 7/8 Strat with their Mustang neck.
Later I got a 7/8 Tele, also with a 24" Mustang neck from them.
And now I'm waiting for my first Mustang from them. It'll be here in a couple of weeks time I believe.
I'll start a build thread when it arrives. And who knows - maybe a Jaguar sometime in the future.
So - in a nutshell - I'm a shortscale guitar player, that now more and more are beginning to enjoy the different offset design.
