I used to post on HCFX back in the day. If you remember my avatar, we should talk about it.
Anyway, I haven't owned an offset for awhile, I have owned many over the years. Decided Jags aren't for me after owning two different Johnny Marr's. Going for a Jazzmaster now. Where the fuck do I buy a MIJ that isn't an arm and a leg? Or should I just do the warmoth thing? Not trying to spend a whole lot more than $700.

What colours are you into? The Road Worn (SB) and 60's Lacquer (surf green) can be found, used, under $700. Same for used MIJs. Or are you specifically looking at new guitars? Not a whole lot of options under $700 these days. Fender's prices have gone haywire in the last 5 years, it seems.
