I like this. I've been thinking about installing a sustainiac into something. Can't make up my mind which guitar to put it in but leaning towards the Squier HH jag, sustainiac and a gold foil.

Welcome to OSG! Great looking project but I must say that piece of tortoise pickguard looks pretty spectacular.

It was built for Simon Taylor-Davies (Klaxons), whom toured with it (Glastonbury etc.), by Frank Deimel back in 2008. Bought it directly from Simon, awesome guy by the way - If I mentioned the price most people would go batsh** crazy how cheap it was!
I only had the time for a few hours of playing, unfortunately, as my schedule been fully booked - But boy does it 'sing', hard to put a word to it but you can feel the resonance all the way from the body through the neck with a sustain to die for (even without the Sustainiac system engaged, which just takes it to another dimension) - And the P90 gives it that bite and growl, a handful of people had the chance to try it out and nothing beats that 'Oh hell yah'-smirk they all get when strumming the first chord. My local luthier looked like he was holding a baby when I went for a general setup and check.
Anyhow, will make a follow-up with more pictures and a few SoundCloud clips when I get around to it.
