PM Notifications

Postby Jay » Mon Oct 10, 2016 1:45 pm

There is a problem with our PM notification emails being returned as spam and going undelivered to the recipients. This appears to be, at this point, an issue with Hotmail only. If you have a Hotmail account and are expecting PMs, please check manually on the site as you're unlikely to get a notice at this time. We're looking into potential solutions but note that it may be unrepairable. Please don't run out and switch your email address with us at this time. Email changes require manual account reactivation and we don't want to receive 30 or 300 of those in a day. Once we figure out a solution, or not, this topic will be updated. Stay tuned... sorry for the inconvenience. :bored:

To add, this also extends to account activation emails and is not limited to only hotmail.com... hotmail.co.uk and other country based domains appear to be affected.

Anyone reading this without an account that may be thinking of registering, using soemthing besides a hotmail account would be recommended.

This should now be resolved. If you're still not recieving PM notifications to hotmail, outlook or any other Microsoft domain address, please let us know.

Tried sending a PM to no avail. Tried sending one to you to notify to no avail. Just sit in OUTBOX. I don't use AOL or Yahoo so checked your web-site. Cannot find an email there so came back here.

Is it my account or is the PM service still not functioning?

Thanks.
