Hello from Sheffield
Hi everybody,
I'm new to the forum after a long time lurking.
I'm from Sheffield, England, and recently got my dream Metallic KO Johnny Marr Jag. I've also got a nice MIJ Jazzmaster I've re-wired with series switching and a PTB tone stack, plus a Telemaster self build partscaster, which I surprised myself by making a fairly good job of. Apart from that I've a Baja Tele and CIJ Strat. Oh, and a Steinberger spirit!
Looking forward to many more threads...
All the best,
Brad

Re: Hello from Sheffield
What's up with Sheffield today? There's two new threads about new members from there. I guess Sheffield got a day off or something.
Welcome!
Welcome!
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Yeah? Well I have the movie "Made in Sheffield" on DVD, which is a documentary about the music scene there from 1975 to 1983 featuring among others the Human League, Doc. I might even watch it some day!

Re: Hello from Sheffield
Now I'm listening to the Human League. I assume that this is what people in Sheffield look and dress like, and if you were to go to a "pub" I think they call it for a "pint" (whatever the fuck that is), you would see this sort of thing being performed there.

Yes, all of us in Sheff look like Phil in that video (I'm a dab hand with the eyeliner myself), except for Phil himself these days:
