Saw Tortoise on Wednesday just gone, they were great (although they did take a few songs to warm up/get the mix right).
Good mix of the new album and their standards.
Wednesday night's gig was their 147th for the year to date, that is huge.
It must get tiring some nights.

Bill Frisell in June!
"I don't know why we asked him to join the band 'cause the rest of us don't like country music all that much; we just like Graham Lee."

All I know is he's playing at Queensland Performing Arts Centre for
this.
Scored front row tickets 2 out from the very centre of the stage, as I don't believe any promo has been done yet.
I would guess he'll be heading down the East coast for a couple more dates at least. Maybe Sydney Opera House and Princess Theatre in Melbourne?

Over next month.
Out of town to London to see Emiliana Torrini and The Colorist Orchestra.
In town for Rose McDowall, Trentemiller, Shirley Collins, Marry Waterson & David A Jaycock, Kraftwerk (for free), Trembing Bells and Alasdair Roberts and maybe Ladyhawke if I can get my middle young ones in somehow.
D
Are you loathsome tonight?

^^^
A friend gave us to it for Christmas through their job.
Whole family too and a guest that makes 8 of us! I probably wouldn't pay to see them now I'm old enough and have seen them enough over the decades, at least paying for my 5 and the two parents which would have been £500 but I'm glad the young kids get to see them. I probably should put this in open forum since there was some controversy over the ticket sales but...who cares!
Price is ridiculous as is the norm these days with legacy acts. I'm sure I saw them for a fiver back in the very early 80's .
